The City University of Hong Kong was established in the year
1994. Formerly known as City Polytechnic of Hong Kong, it was granted full
university status in 1994. Around 18,000 students were enrolled in the year 2011.
The University proffers 130 academic programs in the fields of Business,
Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Engineering, Creative Media,
Energy and Environment, and Law.
Achievements, Reputation and Accreditation
QS World University Rankings ranked the City University of
Hong Kong at 95th place globally. Among the Asian Universities it
was ranked at 12th spot and it was designated 4th spot in
the Hong Kong.
