The Eastern University Sri Lanka was established in the year 1981. The university comprises of two campuses, one is in Vantharumoolai and the other one is in Trincomalee. The university is regarded as one of the ten largest universities when it comes to the number of students.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

Intake of the students in undergraduate programs is done through UGC. Apart from this, minimum score of Z is required in the GCE Advanced Level Examinations. However, for the postgraduate admission, different departments have different requirements. Students from abroad should have a GRE score of 280.
