Purpose of the Scholarship

The scholarships are offered to promote academic excellence among American Indians.
The purpose of Department of Native American Studies is to provide and advance quality education for American Indians of Montana. The Department is committed to meet the changing needs of Montana's Indian tribes and all Montana citizens through quality teaching, research, and service.
