Istanbul Technical University was founded on August 1, 1933. It started education as the only university of Turkey in November. It is the oldest University in of Turkey. The main campus of Istanbul University is in Beyazi. Their vision is to bring the nation together; as it is the firstly built university in Turkey so that it is the leading University which provides beneficial knowledge for their country.
