The Ittihad University is the first largest private institution in the Ras Al Khaimah emirate of UAE established in the year 1999. It is currently working under the presidency of Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Kayed Al Qasimi.

Affiliated College

Ittihad University is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the United Arab Emirates. All of their academic programs are recognized by the Commission for Academic Accreditation, and the Ministry of Higher Education UAE.

The university is divided among four departments which include College of Engineering and Computer Science, College of Management and Information Systems, College of Education, College of Arts. The faculties for all these disciplines are recognized in the whole UAE as one of the top professors in their respective fields.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

As Ittihad University is taken as one of the top 10 universities it is very strict on its merit policy. Apart from the computer sciences and computer engineering courses all others require a 60% grade in the GSEC level. In the computer sciences and computer engineering they require a 75% in the GSEC. Furthermore entry tests are also conducted for the selection of competent students and more transparency in the system.
