Izmir Ekonomi University was founded according to the great principles of Ataturk. The university has started the education in 2001. It is known as the first foundation university in Aegean Region in Izmir. Izmir Ekonomi University has 8 application and Research Center, two institutes, three schools and seven faculties. It offers degree program in eight departments, 20 separate graduate program, 31 undergraduate teaching program in a separate and doctoral program in teaching and education in three different ongoing. The aim of the university trains the individuals who play an important role in the development of the society.
