NTR University of Health Sciences

NTR University of Health Sciences was established in the year 1986. The university is situated in the city of Vijayawada which is the biggest city of Indian state Andhra Pradesh. The university is named after the founder N.T.Rama Rao. There are around 184 colleges affiliated to the University.

Programs and Courses

The University has graduate and postgraduate degree, diploma and super specialty courses in Modern Medicine; graduate and postgraduate degree courses in Dental Surgery, Nursing, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani; graduate degree courses in Naturopathy, Physiotherapy and Medical Laboratory Technology; and a postgraduate course in M.Sc. Applied Nutrition.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

The individual opting for admissions in the undergraduate programs must have a intermediate education. The admissions are awarded on the basis of the result of EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test). Moreover, bachelor’s degree is required in order to get the admission in the postgraduate programs. Students should pass the PG medical entrance test PGMET to get admission in post graduate programs in this university. University conducts common entrance test for all other programs individually.
