Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology was established in the year 1962. The university is regarded as the second oldest agricultural university of the country. The mission of the university is to enhance the knowledge of farmers through agricultural education in order to play its role in the socio-economic development of the region.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

General criteria for the admissions in the undergraduate required an individual to have intermediate education. Apart from that, the candidate should have at least 50% in the intermediate education in Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Physics, Chemistry, Biology but for SC/ST candidates, the minimum requirement is 40%. Moreover, a bachelor’s degree is required for the admission in the postgraduate courses. University conducts common Entrance exams for all under graduate programs.
