The college is located in the university city of Sharjah. This is basically a complex where different institutes are group together. These institutes include American University of Sharjah, Two Higher Colleges of Technology, Police Academy, Women’s university of Sharjah and Men’s university of Sharjah. The Sharjah Men’s College was opened in 1998 and is providing its services to the people of Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Qawain.

The process of admission is simple is straight. The student has to submit their admission forms along with their previous certificates. Entry requirements of college are 70 % in school certificates and 150 score in CEPA-English.
