University of Mysore was established in the year 1916. The university is regarded as the 6th oldest educational institution of the country and the oldest in the state. The university comprises of 42 postgraduate departments. The prominence of the university can be proven by the fact that, it is facilitating around one hundred thousand students nationally and internationally with academic needs. Due to this, the NAAC has given five star statuses to the university. The university also has a digital library and E-scholarship portal known as Vidyanidhi.

The University of Mysore offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the departments situated in the Manasagangotri Campus and also the Hassan and Mandya campuses. Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in order to apply for the admission in the postgraduate courses. The degree should be of a recognized institute.Moreover, foreigners should pass SAT with at least 2000 marks to get admission in undergraduate courses and required 650 marks in GMAT to get admission in Graduate courses.
