Mardin Artuklu University was founded on May 28, 2007, and is located in Mardin. It is one of the seventeen universities which were built in 2007. It started education-teaching in 2007-08 with small number of students. It is specially a Social Science University. Their vision is to carry the history and socio-cultural heritage of the Middle East from local to universal, and to produce scientific knowledge in social events.

Faculties

Mardin Artukulu University has six faculties offering different courses. The faculties include Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences and Faculty of Sciences.

Institutes

Mardin Artukulu University has three institutes including Institute of Social Sciences, Institute of Sciences and Institute of Living Languages.

Vocational Schools

Mardin Artukulu University has higher educational schools for the better training of their students. It includes Vocational Higher School of Mardin, Vocational Higher School of Midyat, Vocational Higher School of Kiziltepe, Vocational Higher School of Nusaybin and Vocational Higher School of Health Services.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

Admission test is compulsory for the students to get admission in Mardin Artukulu University as local students. The scores of the tests SAT and GRE must be greater than 70% to get admission as an international student.
