The University of Moratuwa was established in the year 1972. The university is one of the most preferred when it comes to technological universities in Sri Lanka. The pupils of the university have won Google Summer of Code five times making it the university with highest number of awards in the competition. Apart from this, the university has also won Microsoft Imagine Cup Sri Lankan Software Design Final many times.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

This university also demands minimum Z score in the GCE A/level education. The departments decide the requirement for the admission in the postgraduate programs. However, foreign students are required minimum SAT score of 2000.
