The Utkal University is the seventeenth oldest university in India. Its existing campus is based in Vani vihar. It was set up in the year 1943. It’s a teaching-cum-affiliating university and is the largest affiliating university with roughly 267 affiliated colleges under its authority.

University offers following faculty programs: Faculty of science, faculty of humanities, faculty of business administration, faculty of social sciences, faculty of law and commerce.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

University conducts entrance test for all student who want to get admission in Utkal University. University wants a bachelor degree in order to get admission in post graduate programs and wants secondary school certificate in order to get admission in graduate programs. Foreign students need to pass SAT test if they want to get admission in this university.
