Birsa Agriculture University came into being on 26th June 1981. The primary focus is the development and uplift of the Agriculture field and all the related fields such as Forestry, Animal Husbandry..etc The Birsa Agricultural University is in collaboration with many local and international institutes and organizations. The goal and aim is to develop educated human resources in order to ensure innovation, development and improvement in the field of Agriculture.
Programs and Courses
The Birsa Agricultural University offers Diploma/Certificate programs, Undergraduate Programs, Postgraduate Programs and Doctorate Programs in the following faculties, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry and Faculty of Forestry.
Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025
The intake is divided, which means that 15% seats will be allotted through Combined Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by I.C.A.R. V.C.I at a country-wide level, while 85% seats are allotted through Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board, Ranchi. Moreover, Candidate is required to successfully pass intermediate level with Physics, Chemistry and Biology for all undergraduate degree programs. Further information regarding admission is available on the website. All foreign students should follow this criteria for admission GMAT = 550 GRE = 280 SAT = 1600.
