Covering 500 acres of land, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University came into being in 1989 in the city of Lonere, Maharashtra, India. Being the only technological university in the state of Maharashtra, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University vows to provide the best education in the field of technology.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University has eight departments in which programs for the degrees of B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D, Diploma and advanced diploma are available to the students. The departments are Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Technology, Mechanical and Petrochemical engineering

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

Admissions can be obtained by giving test which is in accordance with the State Government Rules and the candidate must have intermediate education. While, admission in the postgraduate programs and doctoral programs are given upon GATE percentile and the test taken by the department. However, the candidate must have bachelor’s degree. For foreign students the criteria for admission is Minimum GMAT score = 650.
