Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University was granted complete university status in the year 1994. The University is situated in the area of Hung Hom which is in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Polytechnic University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the Faculties and Schools Applied Science and Textiles, Business, Construction and Environment, Engineering, Health and Social Sciences, Humanities, School of Design and School of Hotel and Tourism Management.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

The applicants who are applying for the admission in the undergraduate programs through HKALE(Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination) are required to have minimum grade E in Chinese Literature, Chinese Language & Culture, Use of English, in two other HKALE subjects and in HKCEE subjects. However, through JUPAS must satisfy the university’s general requirements and apart from that level 3 in English Language & Chinese Language and Level 2 in Arithmetic, Liberal Studies including one elective subject. Moreover, there are also various requirements of the concerned departments. The university demands bachelors degree for the admission in the postgraduate departments from recognized institute and if the qualification is not in English language, then the applicant should have TOEFL score of 550, IELTS 6 band and CET band 6. For international students SAT is necessary.
