Maulana Azad National Urdu University is was established in the year 1998. The University is situated in the city of Hyderabad which is in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a Central University with jurisdiction all over India. The university is named after Indian politician and first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The mission of the University is to promote Urdu language and to impart education in Urdu medium. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited A grade to the university.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

There are two ways to get admissions, one is merit and the other is through entrance test. Generally, one must successfully clear the intermediate in order to get the admission in the undergraduate’s courses while one must have bachelor’s degree in order to get admission in the postgraduate programs.University conducts MANUU Entrance Exam every year for all under graduate, post graduate and P.h.d programs such as regular B.E.D or M.E.D programs etc.
