Shivaji University

Shivaji University was established in 1962 in the cty of Kolhapur which is in situated in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The university is named after the founder of the Maratha Empire Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The university has around 225 colleges affiliated to the university. The university aims to proffer quality education in order to serve the masses and society. The university also offers distance education program. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) categorized the university under grade ‘B’.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

The eligibility criteria for applicant opting for admission in the undergraduate or certificate courses require an individual to have intermediate education. However, for some certificate the criteria differ. For the admissions in the postgraduate programs one must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute.Only eligible candidates are required to appear in Entrance test conducted by university to get admission in MCA and other programs.
