The university is located in the city of Dubai which is known all over the world for being the citadel of knowledge. The university is a private university and is a result of foresightedness of its founder. The university started its operations in 1985 and was founded by Haj Saeed Lotah.

Affiliation

The university is encouraged greatly by the govt. and it was affiliated with Higher Education and Scientific Research of UAE in 1994. In the year of 1996 the Higher Education and Scientific Research of UAE announced that the degrees of Dubai Medical College for Women will be equal to MBBS. This decision was made due to their quality services.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

It is very difficult to get admission in the university because there are only limited seats. College has declared that only those students will be considered eligible who have more than 80% in their school certificates and more than 5 marks in their IELTS.
