Central Agricultural University

Central Agricultural University is situated in Iroisemba which is near Imphal in the Indian state of Manipur. Central Agricultural University was established in 1993 after an act of the Parliament which is known as the Central Agricultural University Act 1992. It is an Agricultural University, so the main goal of the University is to provide education in Agriculture and related fields. The goal and mission of the University is to provide advance studies in Agricultural fields and to produce capable and competitive graduates who can ensure prosperity and advancement in their respective area of interests. There are seven colleges under Central Agricultural University.

Programs and Courses

It offers B.Sc. (Agril) every year and M.Sc. (Agril) in Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Horticulture, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, and Entomology. It imparts teaching in the field of horticulture, fisheries, and agricultural engineering.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

Central Agricultural University’s eligibility criteria require the candidate to have the intermediate level successfully passed. Candidates should also pass the admission test of the university.
