Waikato Management School has been confirmed as New Zealand's leader in management research in the tertiary research rankings released on April 22 2004.

The School was the top performer in two of the four research categories in which staff submitted research portfolios, including the major business-related category - Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, International Business and Other Business. The School was ranked in the top five in all four categories.

You must provide the following documentation when submitting an application:

1. A completed and signed application form.
2. An original or verified copy of your secondary school examination results or mid-year results if you have not completed your final
   examinations;   or   verified copies of your academic transcripts(s). If you wish to apply for credit for any previous study you will have to provide original academic transcripts.
3. Evidence of English language proficiency (either an IELTS or TOEFL score) if available..
4. A current curriculum vitae/resume and references from your employer(s) to confirm your work experience.
5. A verified copy of your birth certificate.
6. A hand-written statement, of about one page, explaining why you wish to attend the University of Waikato. Outline relevant work and life experiences that show you are ready for your proposed course of study.
