Admission process

Candidates – Nationals associated with other countries

International students through non EU countries require a student visa with regard to entry to Cyprus. Student visas are issued and then full-time international college students. A full-time student is one that takes no less than 12 credits inside a semester.

Student visas could be issued either through an Embassy/ Higher Commission/ Consulate from the Republic of Cyprus within the candidate's home country or through the Migration Department within Cyprus.

Note:

Normally, foreign students through non EU countries aren't allowed to work throughout their study in Cyprus. Exceptions are created by the Government from the Republic of Cyprus for several courses for that working permits might be issued to allow practical training throughout the summer vacations.

The foreign student has got the right to request to Cyprus his/her buddies and relatives through abroad as visitors under condition he/she may secure a financial institution deposit of three hundred Cyprus Pound for every invited person.

International students from China, India, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka and Bangladesh will need to apply for a student visa from the Cyprus Embassy / Consulate from their country of origin.

Student Visa Requirements for Indian Students

You will need to apply for a student visa from the Cyprus Embassy in New Delhi. The Embassy will be open to students from 10.00-13.00 Monday to Friday. During the interview students must have with them the following documents:

  1. Original and attested copy of 10th and 12th Certificates and Marksheets.
  2. Original letter and copy from the sponsor's bank (in English) confirming that the sponsor (mother or father) has sufficient funds to finance the student's fees and living expenses in Cyprus.
  3. Original letter and copy of good conduct (in English) from the police authorities in the student's country of residence indicating clear criminal record.
  4. Valid passport and copy of relevant pages.
  5. Acceptance letter from Cyprus College.
  6. The receipts indicating payments to Cyprus College.
  7. Visa fee of 500 Rps upon issuance of a student visa.

For successful applicants the Embassy will attest the certified copies of the above documents.

  1. Students will need to show the copies attested by the Embassy when arriving at the Immigration Office at Larnaca airport.
  2. You must declare a total amount of €5,100 in college receipts and cash otherwise you may not be allowed to enter the country. Provided you have submitted the tuition fees for the first semester of €2,200 and the International Student Guarantee of €340 you then need to have with you at least €2,550 in cash to cover personal expenses (meals, books, accommodation etc).
  3. The receipts indicating payments to Cyprus College.
  4. Copy of the acceptance letter from the Office of Admissions.
  5. A valid passport.
  6. Return air ticket to country of origin.

  6. Copy of entry permit sent by Cyprus College.
  7. The receipts indicating payments to Cyprus College.
  8. Visa fee upon issuance of a student visa (The exact cost needs to be verified from the Embassy or Consulate)
