This Institution became the Istanbul Iktisadi ve Ticari Ilimler Akademisi (Istanbul Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences). In 1959 and 1982, it was affiliated with other university institutions to become the Marmara University. Marmara University was established during 1982-1983 year having nine faculties, one vocational school and institute. Now, it is consisted of 14 faculties, 9 vocational schools and 11 graduate institutes. it is also known as one of the finest made universities in Turkey.

Vocational Schools

Marmara University has their vocational schools for the better training options for their students. It has Vocational School of Health Services, Vocational School of Social Sciences, Vocational School of Technical Sciences and Vocational School of Theology.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

There are number of ways to get admission for local students but the basic is Admission Test, which is compulsory to take admission as local student. The scores of GAT, SAT and GRE matters for International students and that should be with higher score.
